'Clouds of Sils Maria' will be released on DVD & Digital HD in the US on July 14

Hailed by critics as “captivating” (The Atlantic), “rich and genuinely mysterious” (New York Magazine), director Olivier Assayas’s (Summer Hours) acclaimed CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA makes its debut on DVD and Digital HD July 14, 2015 from Paramount Home Media Distribution.  Academy Award® winner Juliette Binoche (Best Supporting Actress, The English Patient, 1997), Kristen Stewart (Twilight  franchise) and Chloë Grace Moretz (If I Stay, Carrie) are magnetic and memorable  in this “mesmerizing examination of how life can imitate art” (CBS News).  Stewart “continues to demonstrate why she’s one of the best actors of her generation” (Film Comment) and her “intricately layered performance” (New York Times) earned her the coveted César Award for Best Supporting Actress, making her the first American to win the award.

When renowned actress Maria Enders (Binoche) is cast opposite a young Hollywood starlet with a penchant for scandal (Moretz), tensions rise as she must come to terms with what it means to be an actress in a youth-obsessed industry.  As she prepares with her assistant (Stewart) for the most challenging role of her life, Maria must confront her personal demons in this captivating film.

CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA was nominated for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, won the International Cinephile Society Cannes Awards for Best Actress (Juliette Binoche) and Best Screenplay (Olivier Assayas), and won the Prix Louis Delluc award for Best Film.  The film was released theatrically in the U.S. on April 10th by Sundance Selects.

The CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with English 5.1 Dolby Digital and French 5.1 Dolby Digital and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The DVD includes the feature film in standard definition.
