Kristen Stewart on handprint ceremony: How cool is this?

Kristen Stewart said that the experience of making the "Twilight Saga" was unique in that she feels a connection with thousands of fans and felt their excitement at her recent handprint ceremony.

"I think in a moment like that, you realized, especially because they're physically in front of you and sharing something that should be the most important to you, yet you can feel that the people care," Stewart told OnTheRedCarpet.com in a press junket for '"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1." "It's almost as if they're involved and it is so unique."

Kirsten Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner had their hand and footprints immortalized on Thursday, November 3, in a ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theater.

At the time, Stewart said, "This is so crazy for us." The 21-year-old actress said that feels like she has a connection to something huge after appearing in the "Twilight" films and wanted to acknowledge them at the ceremony.

"I mean, I've worked on other films and I have great relationships with the people that I make them with, but to be able to connect with thousands of people, I mean that needs to be acknowledged," Stewart continued. "I mean, they would do the same for me, we're the same, there's really no difference between us. That's what needs to be acknowledged, just like 'How cool is this, guys?'"

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" depicts the wedding of Bella Swan, a human played by Stewart, and Pattinson's character, vampire Edward Cullen, and the consequences of their union. The movie is the first part of the fourth installment of the fantasy romance series, which is based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer.

The movie is set for release on November 18 and also stars other returning cast members such as Taylor Lautner, whose werewolf character, Jacob Black, remains jealous of the tragic couple, and Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone, who play Cullen's adopted siblings. Their parents are portrayed by Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser.

The previous three movies, the first of which was released in 2008, have grossed more than 1.8 billion worldwide. The second part of "Breaking Dawn" is due to be released on Nov. 16, 2012.
