Teresa Palmer mentions Kristen in her interview

Do people often tell you that you look like Kristen Stewart?

I get recognized as her a lot and I think it's quite flattering… The shape of our faces is similar, the pointed chins and our lips, and the dark under our eyes. I can definitely see the resemblance… I would love to play sisters at some point in a movie.

I'm actually a huge fan of hers. I think what she does is very interesting – it's unlike anything I've seen someone do on screen before. She's kind of dark and brooding but she owns it. It is who she is. She's not trying to be anyone else. She's very natural as well, that thing she does with her hair and bites her lip. There's something so endearing about how awkward she can be.

Cannes 2011: #OTR considered as an A-list attraction

Cannes promotes itself on its deep respect of artistry, but the truth is that it also a bit of a mammoth star-shag. Those running the festival know that in order to maintain its position as the premier such event in the movie calendar, they need to attract those mega-movies that will bring all of the press corps out to play, not just those light-deprived hermits from the film division. Hence Robin Hood and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps last year. Hence Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls two years ago.

While the 2011 opening movie, Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, might be unlikely to attract huge audiences when it goes on general release, it will bring some glitz to the festival, not least in the form of French first lady, Carla Bruni. And two films which could potentially also add A-list pizazz without attracting any accusations of dumbing down are Walter Salles' adaptation of On the Road (starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, and Kristen Stewart) and Paolo Sorrentino's This Must be the Place (starring 2008 jury president Sean Penn, and Frances McDormand). Whether either would be ready in time is entirely another matter.

Rob mentions Kristen in his VF interview

Excerpt of Rob's interview mentioning Kristen:

"Kristen is very focused on being and actress," Pattinson says, later, of Stewart. "I mean, that's what she is-she's an actress. Whereas I-I just don't really know."

Among the many things that now dog Pattinson wherever he goes are questions about the nature of his relationship with Stewart, 21. They are widely rumored to be having a torrid romance, something they refuse to confirm (even Oprah couldn't get it out of them). Other rumors maintain that talk of a romance is just publicity for the Twilight movies.

"Are you asking me if I'm really a vampire?," Pattinson says, laughing, when I join the nosy chorus, asking if his on-screen love mirrors his relationship in real-life. As I wait for an answer, Pattinson literally starts squirming. "Yes. Um. No, not really," he says. "It's pretty hard to...It's just very traumatic," he says cryptically.

"I mean, are you very intense about each other?," I ask.

"Oh, I don't know," he says finally. "She's cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that. I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is. It's funny that she's the one doing this huge-thing." That is, Twilight.

"When this is over," says Pattinson, meaning the seemingly unstoppable Twilight entertainment machine, "the media will lose interest" in their alleged affair. He hopes. "There'll be nothing to say. It won't fit into a headline anymore. It won't fit into a template."

K-11 update

Intandem to rep Stewart's 'K-11'

London-based sales and financing house Intandem Films has pacted with L.A. shingle Libertine Films to handle international sales on edgy drama "K-11."

Directed and written by first-time feature helmer Jules Stewart, the pic is a dark and complex character ensemble set in a special unit of L.A. County's Men's Central Jail dedicated to vulnerable prisoners.

Jules Stewart is the mother of thesp Kristen Stewart, and although press reports have linked the actress with the project, Intandem would not comment, but said casting was now on fast-track.

The indie pic is fully financed and skedded to shoot on location in L.A. this July, and is likely to preem at Berlin next year.

Libertine prexy Tom Wright will produce.

Libertine retains all North American rights for the film, with Intandem's CEO Gary Smith serving as consultant on the negotiations.

Smith said: "Libertine Films has a diverse slate of films and we look forward to developing a long and successful collaboration with them."

Jules Stewart, who is repped by ICM's Joanne Wiles, formed Libertine with Wright after working for many years as a script supervisor.
